Historic Aircraft & Restoration Society Tour on Thursday 18th March   -   Albion Park Airport


This is a self-drive outing to Albion Park Illawarra Regional Airport, therefore we will be car-pooling.     Please indicate whether you are prepared to take a car, and if so how many passengers you can accommodate.

There will be a guided tour of the Society’s aircraft collection and facilities. Lunch will be at the Albion Park R.S.L. Club. We will stop to visit Bill and Roslyn Sweetapple”s property at “SassafrasHill” where we will have morning tea at 10.00 a.m.

Sassafras Hill is situated on Illawarra Highway 0.5 klms past the Pie Shop on the right hand side.

10.00 a.m.Sassafras Hill

10.30 a.m. Morning Tea

11.45 a.m.   Depart Sassafras Hill

12.30 p.m. Lunch Albion Park

2.00 p.m. Aircraft Museum Tour

4.00 p.m. Depart for home.

Military History Study Group
Meetings will return on a Bi- Monthly basis the first one will be the 4th Monday in March the 22/03/2010
March speaker will be Brian Florance on the three HMAS Sydneys.   Assisting will be Bill Sherman with the visuals and Power Point.

Combined Club Trip
Powerhouse Discovery Centre, Castle Hill       April 27^th 2010

This is the storage and collection centre for the museum.     There is a 90 minute guided tour of the site and the displays.   A further 30 minutes is then available to revisit any area of personal interest

Lunch at “Mean Fiddler Hotel” approx. 1.00 p.m.         Cost $45.00 per person
